Destination covering : Delhi-Manali-Jispa-Sarchu-Leh-Turtuk-Hunder-Leh-Pangong-Leh
Day 01: Arrive Delhi
Arrive Delhi airport, our representative will meet there. Get transferred to hotel, check in and relax for the day. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 02: Delhi-Manali | 560kms 9hrs
After an early breakfast get ready for a long drive to Manali. Reach Manali and check into the resort. Evening will be at leisure. Stay overnight.
Day 03: Manali - Jispa Alt 3150 M |140kms 5-6hrs
After an early breakfast get driven to Jispa by 0730 hrs, drive across Rohtang La and see the landscape changes drastically from lush greenery of Manali to barren landscape of Lahaul and Ladakh. Have lunch at any of the Dhabas at Kokhsar of your own. Reach Jispa in the afternoon. Check into your pre-booked accommodation, right besides the gushing Bhaga River. Stay overnight at the Tent.
Day 04: Jispa - Sarchu 4290 M| 103kms 3hrs
Have breakfast and enjoy some walking/hiking in order to acclimatize yourself to the high altitude. Later have lunch and get driven to Sarchu. Reach there and check into your tents. Have dinner and stay overnight.
Day 05: Sarchu– Leh Alt 3505 M 260 kms 7-8hrs
Start an early day at 0730 hrs carrying packed lunch. Cross Lachalung La and reach Pang. Then drive through some amazingly stark terrain to reach the second highest motorable pass; Tanglang La. Reach Leh and check into your hotel and stay overnight.
Day 06: Leh Sightseeing
Post breakfast at hotel enjoy sightseeing of Leh including Thiksey and Shey Monastery. Drive to Stok Village and enjoy a tr aditional Ladakhi meal in a village home, later see Stok Palace & Museum. Post lunch visit Hall of Fame , Patthar Sahib Gurudwara, Magnetic point and Nimmu (confluence point of Indus & Zanskar River). If time permits enjoy shopping at the
local market of Leh. Stay overnight at the hotel.
Day 07: Leh–Nubra Valley at Turtuk Alt. 3048 M| 214 kms 7 hrs
After early breakfast at hotel proceed for a stunning drive over the mighty Khardung La (5602 M) into the verdant Nubra Valley. Reach Turtuk and check into safari tents at a verdant campsite amidst fields & orchards, sprinkled with clumps of wild & vibrantly colored blooms. Have dinner and stay overnight at the camp.
Day 08: Turtuk –Hunder | 95 kms 3hrs
Post early breakfast spend 2- 3 hrs walking in & around the villages, interacting with the warm & hospitable locals. We get back to the campsite & enjoy a traditional Balti meal. Later leave for Hunder, reach the village in the afternoon. , here those interested can enjoy a ride on the Double Humped Camels. If time permits visit Sakhyamuni Buddha near Deskit Gompa in the lovely sunset. Stay overnight in the hotel.
Day 09: Hunder- Leh | Alt. 3524m| 11562ft 126kms 5hrs
After breakfast get driven to Leh. Reach there and heck into your pre-booked hotel. Have lunch and later spend sunset at Shanti Stupa for unforgettable views of Leh Valley & town. Stay overnight at hotel.
Day 10: Leh-Pangong Tso (4260 M / 14000 ft) |150kms 5 hrs
After breakfast get driven to Pangong. Stop to enjoy your lunch in Tangse. Later carry on your drive and reach Pangong by early evening. Check into a Deluxe Tents bang on the lake shore at a campsite. Enjoy spectacular views of the mountains and lake. Stay overnight at the tent.
Day 11: Pangong Tso– Hemis- Leh 165kms 6hrs
Enjoy your breakfast. Later drive back to Leh. Take a detour at Karu to see the glorious Hemis Gompa atop a hill in the periphery of the Hemis National Park. Have lunch on the way. Evening will be at leisure, have dinner and stay overnight at hotel.
Day 12: Leh– Airport Drop
After early breakfast at the hotel, get transferred to the Leh airport to board a flight for your onward journey. Tour ends here.
